Thanksgiving 2001

We had a peaceful Thanksgiving at home, playing lots of games.  On Friday we sailed our boat to Poulsbo, the local Viking village, and stayed overnight at the dock.  The kids enjoyed playing Vikings and looking at all the model ships, helmets, and armor in the many stores.  The Scandinavian bakery was a treat, too.  The weather forecast wasn't great, but we ended up having nice weather for the season: no rain and great sailing wind.  Coming back we had an exhilarating broad reach across Puget Sound in up to 29kt of wind.
